1. 37Definizione di fallo

   Any breach of the field rules is a foul: the umpire stops play and gives the penalty.

2. 38Esecuzione della punizione

   Twenty seconds to take a penalty, one honest attempt, no tee, no re-placing, and one stroke for Penalties 3, 4 and 6.

3. 39Punizione 1: gol assegnato

   A foul to save a goal near the goal gives a goal; play restarts at half way with a free hit if the foul was dangerous or deliberate, otherwise with a throw-in.

4. 40Punizione 2: dalle 30 yarde o dal punto

   An undefended free hit from 30 yards in front of goal or from the spot of the foul, at the fouled captain's choice.

5. 41Punizione 3: dalle 40 yarde

   A free hit from 40 yards in front of goal; defenders behind the back line outside the goal, and one may cross in front of the goal once the ball is hit.

6. 42Punizione 4: dalle 60 yarde

   A free hit from 60 yards in front of goal, defenders at least 40 yards away between the ball and their goal.

7. 43Punizione 5a: dal punto

   A free hit from where the foul happened, at least 4 metres from the boards, with defenders 30 yards away between the ball and their goal.

   A free hit from the centre of the field, defenders 30 yards away between the ball and their goal.

9. 45Punizione 6: corner

   A free hit from the 60-yard line opposite where the ball went out, no more than 40 yards from the centre of the goal.

10. 46Punizione 7a: punizione ripetuta

    If the defenders do not behave correctly at a Penalty 2, 3, 4 or 6, the hit is taken again unless a goal was scored or awarded.

11. 47Punizione 7b: rimessa dalle 30 yarde

    If the attackers break the knock-in rule, the defenders knock in again from the 30-yard line.

12. 48Punizione 8: palla rimessa dall'arbitro

    When both teams break the rules at a Penalty 2 or 3, the umpire throws in at the penalty spot; and a slow knock-in is thrown in by the umpire.

13. 49Punizione 9a: cavallo espulso

    A pony that breaks rule 3.1b is sent off for the match or until the cause is put right.

14. 50Punizione 9b: giocatore espulso

    A player whose equipment breaks rule 2.3 is sent off until it is put right; play goes on meanwhile.

15. 51Sanzioni disciplinari: tecnico, cartellino giallo e rosso

    Misconduct is punished with a technical foul, a yellow card (two minutes off on the second) or a red card, and four yellows in a year mean a suspension.
