   Who may play: membership, the handicap limits of an event, fitness to play, and the forfeit for an ineligible player.

   When a player may be replaced, how the replacement affects the team's handicap, and the special case after a Penalty 7.

   What a player must wear, from the certified helmet to white breeches and team colours.

   Which horses may play, the vision rule, when umpires take a horse out, and how whips and spurs may be used.

6. 6Equipo del caballo

   Which shoes and calks a horse may wear, the ban on blinkers, and leg protection.
