Handicap
How arena team handicaps are worked out and given as goals, and what happens when a player's handicap changes during an event.
Basis of the handicap
L'handicap di un giocatore si basa su una partita di quattro periodi di 7½ minuti. La somma degli handicap dei giocatori di ciascuna squadra costituisce l'handicap della squadra.

A player’s handicap is based on a game of four 7½ minute periods. The aggregate handicaps of the players of each team shall constitute the team handicap.
Goals by handicap
Nelle partite giocate con handicap, la differenza tra gli handicap delle squadre viene assegnata alla squadra con l'handicap inferiore e conta come gol segnati. Ogni frazione di handicap assegnata conta come ½ gol. I gol frazionari servono a spareggiare e nel calcolo dei gol netti e lordi.

In games played with handicaps, the difference in team handicaps will be awarded to the team with the lesser handicap and will count as goals scored. Any fractional handicap awarded shall be counted as ½ goal. Fractional goals are used as tie-breakers and in net and gross goal calculations.
Games of other than four periods
Nelle partite con un numero di periodi diverso da quattro, la differenza di handicap tra le squadre viene divisa per quattro, moltiplicata per il numero di periodi da giocare e assegnata come gol alla squadra con l'handicap inferiore.

Within the event limits
La somma degli handicap di una squadra deve rientrare nei limiti stabiliti per un evento. Nessuna squadra il cui handicap sia superiore o inferiore ai limiti stabiliti può partecipare, salvo quanto previsto dalle Regole 1.c e 3.c.

The aggregate handicap of a team must fall within the limits specified for an event. No team whose handicap is higher or lower than the specified limits shall be permitted to participate, except as provided in Rules 1.c and 3.c.
Handicap changes during an event
Se una squadra si è iscritta a un evento e l'handicap di uno o più giocatori cambia in qualsiasi momento tra il sorteggio e l'ultima partita della squadra nell'evento, così che l'handicap totale della squadra risulti superiore o inferiore al limite massimo di handicap dell'evento, la squadra resta ammessa a quell'evento ma deve giocare con il nuovo handicap tutte le partite restanti.

If a team has entered an event and has a player or players changed in handicap at any time from the draw through the team’s last game in the event resulting in the team’s total handicap being over or under the maximum handicap limit of the event, the team will remain eligible for that event but must play off the new handicap in all remaining games.
Substitutes

Change of more than two goals
