Handicaps
How arena team handicaps are worked out and given as goals, and what happens when a player's handicap changes during an event.
Basis of the handicap
El hándicap de un jugador se basa en un partido de cuatro períodos de 7½ minutos. La suma de los hándicaps de los jugadores de cada equipo constituirá el hándicap del equipo.

A player’s handicap is based on a game of four 7½ minute periods. The aggregate handicaps of the players of each team shall constitute the team handicap.
Goals by handicap
En los partidos jugados con hándicap, la diferencia entre los hándicaps de los equipos se otorgará al equipo de menor hándicap y contará como goles marcados. Cualquier fracción de hándicap otorgada se contará como ½ gol. Los goles fraccionarios se usan para desempatar y en el cálculo de los goles netos y brutos.

In games played with handicaps, the difference in team handicaps will be awarded to the team with the lesser handicap and will count as goals scored. Any fractional handicap awarded shall be counted as ½ goal. Fractional goals are used as tie-breakers and in net and gross goal calculations.
Games of other than four periods
En los partidos de un número de períodos distinto de cuatro, la diferencia de hándicap entre los equipos se dividirá por cuatro, se multiplicará por el número de períodos a jugar y se otorgará como goles al equipo de menor hándicap.

Within the event limits
La suma de los hándicaps de un equipo debe estar dentro de los límites especificados para un evento. No se permitirá participar a ningún equipo cuyo hándicap sea superior o inferior a los límites especificados, salvo lo dispuesto en las Reglas 1.c y 3.c.

The aggregate handicap of a team must fall within the limits specified for an event. No team whose handicap is higher or lower than the specified limits shall be permitted to participate, except as provided in Rules 1.c and 3.c.
Handicap changes during an event
Si un equipo se ha inscrito en un evento y el hándicap de uno o más de sus jugadores cambia en cualquier momento entre el sorteo y el último partido del equipo en el evento, de modo que el hándicap total del equipo quede por encima o por debajo del límite máximo de hándicap del evento, el equipo seguirá siendo elegible para ese evento, pero deberá jugar con el nuevo hándicap en todos los partidos restantes.

If a team has entered an event and has a player or players changed in handicap at any time from the draw through the team’s last game in the event resulting in the team’s total handicap being over or under the maximum handicap limit of the event, the team will remain eligible for that event but must play off the new handicap in all remaining games.
Substitutes

Change of more than two goals
Si durante el evento el hándicap de un equipo cambia en más de dos goles por encima del límite superior o por debajo del límite inferior, el equipo no podrá continuar y deberá ajustarse a los límites de hándicap originales del evento.
