Giocatori

Four players a side, one on-field captain who alone talks to the umpires, the stick in the right hand, and no leaving the field mid-chukka without a reason.

1. 2a

   Squadra. In tutte le partite, una squadra è limitata a 4 giocatori sul campo di gioco.

   Team. A team is limited to 4 players on the field of play in all games.

2. 2b

   Capitano della squadra. All'inizio della partita deve essere indicato agli arbitri un capitano della squadra in campo. Indossa una fascia da braccio fornita dalla squadra e solo lui può parlare con gli arbitri. Se viene sostituito per qualsiasi motivo, consegna la fascia a un altro giocatore.

   Team Captain. An on-field Team Captain must be nominated to the umpires at the beginning of the game. They shall wear an arm band provided by the team and only they may speak with the umpires. If replaced for any reason, they shall hand it to another player.

3. 2c

   Solo la mano destra. Per tenere la mazza, sia per colpire la palla sia per agganciare la mazza di un altro giocatore, si usa solo la mano destra.

   Right Hand Only. The right hand only is to be used to hold the stick to hit the ball or hook another player’s stick.

4. 2d

   Lasciare il campo. Un giocatore non può lasciare il campo di gioco durante un chukker senza il permesso degli arbitri, salvo per cambiare cavallo o mazza o per una legittima uscita in corsa.
