Jugadores

Four players a side, one on-field captain who alone talks to the umpires, the stick in the right hand, and no leaving the field mid-chukka without a reason.

1. 2a

   Equipo. En todos los partidos, un equipo está limitado a 4 jugadores en la cancha.

   Team. A team is limited to 4 players on the field of play in all games.

2. 2b

   Capitán del equipo. Al comienzo del partido debe comunicarse a los umpires quién es el capitán del equipo en la cancha. Llevará un brazalete provisto por el equipo y solo él podrá hablar con los umpires. Si es reemplazado por cualquier motivo, entregará el brazalete a otro jugador.

   Team Captain. An on-field Team Captain must be nominated to the umpires at the beginning of the game. They shall wear an arm band provided by the team and only they may speak with the umpires. If replaced for any reason, they shall hand it to another player.

3. 2c

   Solo la mano derecha. Solo se utilizará la mano derecha para sostener el taco al golpear la bocha o enganchar el taco de otro jugador.

   Right Hand Only. The right hand only is to be used to hold the stick to hit the ball or hook another player’s stick.

4. 2d

   Salir de la cancha. Un jugador no puede salir de la cancha durante un chukker sin permiso de los umpires, salvo para cambiar de caballo o de taco o por una salida legítima de la cancha a la carrera.
