Joueurs

Four players a side, one on-field captain who alone talks to the umpires, the stick in the right hand, and no leaving the field mid-chukka without a reason.

1. 2a

   Équipe. Dans tous les matchs, une équipe est limitée à 4 joueurs sur le terrain de jeu.

   Team. A team is limited to 4 players on the field of play in all games.

2. 2b

   Capitaine d'équipe. Un capitaine d'équipe sur le terrain doit être désigné aux arbitres au début du match. Il porte un brassard fourni par l'équipe et lui seul peut parler aux arbitres. S'il est remplacé pour une raison quelconque, il remet le brassard à un autre joueur.

   Team Captain. An on-field Team Captain must be nominated to the umpires at the beginning of the game. They shall wear an arm band provided by the team and only they may speak with the umpires. If replaced for any reason, they shall hand it to another player.

3. 2c

   Main droite uniquement. Seule la main droite peut être utilisée pour tenir le maillet afin de frapper la balle ou d'accrocher le maillet d'un autre joueur.

   Right Hand Only. The right hand only is to be used to hold the stick to hit the ball or hook another player’s stick.

4. 2d

   Quitter le terrain. Un joueur ne peut pas quitter le terrain de jeu pendant un chukker sans l'autorisation des arbitres, sauf pour changer de poney ou de maillet ou pour une sortie légitime dans l'élan.
