Delay of game
A player who slows down to fish for a foul is told 'play the ball' and has 5 seconds to get rid of it; a defender stuck across the line is told to clear it.
A player who slows down and/or deliberately seeks the “foul” and has no intention of playing shall be warned by the Umpire to get rid of the ball with the words “play the ball”, since it is dangerous for players and mounts and spoils the spectacle.

El jugador que reduce la velocidad y/o busca el “foul” deliberadamente y no tiene intención de jugar será advertido por el Juez para que se desprenda de la bocha con la frase “juegue la bocha”, ya que resulta peligroso para jugadores y montados y desluce el espectáculo.
If he does not get rid of the ball or try to beat the opponent at speed, and 5 seconds pass from the Umpire's order, possession is then handed over with a “foul” from the spot against him, respecting the usual foul rules on the opposing team's distance and the time to take the penalty. Within those 5 seconds the player may NOT touch the ball except to get rid of it.

En caso de no desprenderse o no intentar pasar al contrario en velocidad y de transcurrir 5 segundos desde la orden del Juez, entonces se entrega la posesión con “foul” del lugar en su contra, respetando las normas tradicionales del foul en cuanto a la distancia del equipo rival y tiempo para jugar el penal. El jugador dentro de esos 5 segundos NO puede tocar la bocha salvo para desprenderse de la misma.
If a player holds up the player in possession of the ball, “CLEAR” shall be applied only if the player happens to end up across without any intention or fault. This means he must clear the line of the ball completely and immediately. Otherwise he shall be penalised.

En caso de que un jugador retrase el juego a quien se encuentra en posesión de la bocha, sólo se aplicará el “LIBERE” si el jugador queda eventualmente atravesado sin ninguna intención o culpa. Esto significa que debe liberar completamente la línea de la bocha de manera inmediata. En caso contrario será sancionado.
