Duración del partido

A game normally lasts 4 to 6 chukkas, with fixed intervals between them.

   Número de chukkers. La duración estándar de un partido será de 4 a 6 chukkers, sin contar el tiempo suplementario, pero el Comité del Torneo puede modificarla según el nivel del polo.

   Number of Chukkas. The standard duration of a game shall be 4 - 6 chukkas, excluding extra time, but this may be varied by the Tournament Committee according to the level of the polo.

2. 8b

   Intervalos. Los intervalos entre chukkers serán de 3 minutos, con un intervalo de 5 minutos en el medio tiempo y antes del tiempo suplementario. En los partidos de 5 chukkers, el intervalo del medio tiempo será después del tercer chukker. Al final de estos intervalos sonará una campana como señal para que los umpires reanuden el juego.

   Intervals. Intervals between chukkas will be 3 minutes, with a 5 minute interval at half time and before extra time. In games of 5 chukkas, the half time interval shall be after the third chukka. A bell shall be rung at the end of these intervals as a signal to the umpires to restart play.
