Restart when the ball has not left the field: throw-in and fair play
Play stopped with the ball still on the field restarts with a throw-in, or, when one team had clear possession, with a 'fair play' restart in its favour.
If for any reason play has to be stopped without the ball having left the field, it shall be restarted as follows: The Umpire shall stand at the point where the ball was when he blew the whistle, facing the nearest side line, but at least 20 m from the boards or side line, and shall bowl the Throw-in.

Si por cualquier razón el juego debe detenerse sin que la bocha haya salido de la cancha, se reiniciará en la siguiente forma: El Juez se parará en el punto donde estaba la bocha cuando tocó silbato, mirando hacia la línea lateral más cercana, pero por lo menos a 20 m de las tablas o línea lateral y arrojara el Throw in.
The throw-in: the teams line up 5 yards in front of the umpire, each behind its side of the line, and the umpire throws the ball hard along the ground between them. - At least 20 m from the boards

Fair Play: play may be restarted with a Fair play only if no foul has been called and the umpires have had to stop it before it became neutral, with one team in clear possession of the ball and free of any opposing player.

Fair Play: el juego sólo podrá reiniciarse por Fair play si no se ha cobrado ninguna falta y los árbitros han tenido que interrrumpirlo antes de que éste sea neutral con un equipo en clara posesión de la bocha y libre de cualquier jugador contrario.
The umpires shall drop the ball where it was when the whistle was blown and, when the teams are ready, shall give the order to “play”.

The team that was in possession of the ball must play within the following 5 seconds; its members may be in whatever position they wish. If the team does not play the ball within the 5 seconds, a throw-in shall be awarded.

If the ball was within the (attacking) 60 yards, the referee shall decide where the fair play is taken from (on the 60 yards in a straight line from where it was when the whistle blew, at the 60 yards, 40 yards or 30 yards), using the general rule for penalties, with one stroke and with the ball allowed to be placed.

Si la bocha se encontrara dentro de las 60 yardas (de ataque), el referee decidirá desde donde ejecutar el fair play (en las 60 yardas en línea recta desde donde se encontraba al sonar el silbato, en las 60 yardas, 40 yardas o 30 yardas) Utilizando la regla general de los penales, de un tiro y pudiendo acomodar la bocha.
Players of the opposing team must not be less than 30 yards from the ball nor behind it. If one of them is less than 30 yards away when the stroke is made, he may not play until the player in possession of the ball passes it to another player or has been marked by another opponent. If he comes into the play, a penalty shall be awarded, always moving closer to the goal. If the opposing player is for any reason behind the ball, he shall be offside (Rule 6, point 4).

Los jugadores del equipo contrario no deben estar a menos de 30 yardas de la bocha ni detrás de la misma. si uno de ellos se encontrara a menos de 30 yardas cuando se produce el golpe, no podrá jugar hasta que el jugador en posesión de la bocha se la pase a otro jugador o haya sido marcado por otro contrario, Si entra en la jugada, se concederá un penal acercándose siempre al arco. Si el jugador contrario por alguna razón, estuviese detrás de la bocha, se encontrará en off side (Regla 6, punto 4).
If a referee or his horse causes a significant change of play and as a result a team loses a clear advantage, the referee shall blow the whistle and restart play with a fair play in favour of the team disadvantaged. If this happens in a play with the ball in dispute, and as a result of the change of play one of the two teams is favoured, the referee shall blow the whistle and restart play with a throw-in. If in any case a change of play creates no disadvantage, the referee must let play go on.

Si un referee o su caballo causaran un cambio de jugada significativo y como consecuencia un equipo perdiera una ventaja clara, el referee hará sonar el silbato y reiniciará el juego con un un fair play a favor del equipo perjudicado. En el caso que esto ocurra en una jugada con bocha en disputa, y como consecuencia del cambio de jugada uno de los dos equipos resulte favorecido, el referee hará sonar el silbato y reiniciará el juego con un throw in. Si en algún caso de cambio de jugada el mismo no genera ninguna desventaja el referee deberá dejar seguir jugando.
