   Four players a side, no left-handers, paid-up handicaps, what happens when a team is late or short, how substitutes change the handicap, and what players must wear.

2. 3Ponies, tack and their care

   Any height of pony, but none blind in one eye, vicious or out of control; what tack and shoes are allowed; and how referees' ponies are handed over.
