Penalty 9b: player sent off
A player whose equipment breaks rule 2.3 is sent off until it is put right; play goes on meanwhile.
For a breach of Point 2.3 (players' equipment), the Umpire shall blow the whistle and order the player off the field, and shall prevent him from playing again until he has removed the cause of the breach. In both cases mentioned above, play must resume immediately with a throw-in and must continue while the player is changing ponies or removing the cause of the breach.

Por infracción al Punto 2.3 (equipamiento para los jugadores), el Juez hará sonar el silbato y ordenará el retiro de la cancha del jugador y le impedirá jugar de nuevo hasta que haya eliminado la causa de la infracción. En los dos casos citados más arriba, el juego debe reanudarse inmediatamente con un throw-in y debe continuar mientras el jugador esté cambiando de petiso o eliminando la causa de la infracción.
