Penalty 2: 30 yards or from the spot

An undefended free hit from 30 yards in front of goal or from the spot of the foul, at the fouled captain's choice.

    A free hit at the ball from a point 30 yards from the offending side's back line opposite the middle of the goal or, if preferred, from where the foul was committed (at the choice of the captain of the side fouled). Penalty 2, whether from 30 yards or from the spot, shall be hit at an undefended goal. If the hit is missed or mishit, a dribble is made, or the shot does not reach the goal line or strikes one of the posts and the ball stays in the field or inside a post, play shall then resume with a knock-in to the team that was defending. The whole offending side must stay behind its back line, outside the goal. Players of the side taking the penalty must be behind the 30-yard line. If the captain of the side fouled chooses to take the penalty from where the foul was committed, no member of the offending side may be less than 30 yards from the ball; in that case the players of the attacking side must be behind the line of the ball and may not come in, the goal having to be undefended. In both cases, if any defending player is placed illegally the penalty shall be awarded again, unless in the umpire's opinion the free hit would have resulted in a goal. If any player of the side fouled is in front of the line of the ball when the Penalty is taken, the defenders shall be awarded a knock-in from the middle of their goal.

    Un golpe libre a la bocha desde un punto situado a 30 yardas de la línea trasera del bando infractor frente al medio del arco o si se prefiere, desde donde se cometió el foul (a elección del capitán del bando perjudicado). El Penal 2, sea de 30 yardas o de lugar se tirará a arco descubierto. Si se errara el golpe o este fuera defectuoso, se hiciera un dribling o el tiro no llega a la línea de gol o golpea contra uno de los mimbres y la bocha queda dentro de la cancha o dentro de un mimbre, entonces se reanudará el juego con saque a favor del equipo que defendía. Todo el bando infractor debe permanecer detrás de su línea trasera fuera del arco. Los jugadores del bando que ejecuta el penal deberán estar detrás de la línea de las 30 yardas. Si el capitán del bando perjudicado elige tirar el penal desde el sitio donde se cometió el foul, ninguno del bando infractor debe estar a menos de 30 yardas de la bocha, en este último caso los jugadores del bando atacante deberán estar detrás de la línea de la bocha y no podrán ingresar debiendo el arco estar descubierto. En ambos casos si algún jugador defensor se ubicara en forma antirreglamentaria se otorgará nuevamente el penal, salvo en el caso que en la opinión del juez el golpe libre hubiera resultado en gol. Si algún jugador del bando perjudicado se encontrara por delante de la línea de la bocha al ejecutarse el Penal se le concederá a los defensores un saque desde el medio de su arco.

  2. 40 Nota

    NOTE: If, after a 30-yard penalty has been given, a technical foul is called against the offending team, the Umpire shall decide which penalty to apply to punish the new offence, and it shall be taken immediately after the first. If the first penalty is converted into a goal, the Umpire shall blow the whistle and have the second penalty taken, confirming the first goal. If the first penalty is not converted into a goal - the Umpire shall blow the whistle and the second penalty shall be taken.

    NOTA: Si luego de sancionado un penal de 30 yardas se cobra un foul técnico al equipo infractor, el Juez decidirá el tipo de penal que corresponde aplicar para castigar la nueva falta, el que será ejecutado inmediatamente después del primero. Si el primer penal se transformara en gol, el Juez hará sonar el silbato y procederá a hacer ejecutar el segundo penal convalidando el primer gol. Si el primer penal no se convirtiera en gol - el Juez hará sonar el silbato y se procederá a ejecutar el segundo penal.
