Ball hit behind by an attacker
When an attacker sends the ball over the back line, the defenders knock in from where it crossed, with attackers kept 30 yards out.
If the ball goes out of play over the back line sent by a player of the attacking side, the defending side shall take a knock-in from the point where the ball crossed the back line, but at least 3.5 m and at most 36.5 m from the goal posts, and after the umpire gives the order to play. No member of the attacking side may be less than 27.45 m (30 yards) from the back line until the ball is hit or a hit is attempted; the defenders may place themselves where they wish. At the knock-in, the ball is to be understood as hit by any action intended to put the ball into play.

Si la bocha sale de juego por la línea trasera impulsada por un jugador del bando atacante, el bando defensor efectuará un saque desde el punto por donde la bocha cruzó la línea trasera, pero entre 3,5 m como mínimo y 36,5 m como máximo de los postes del arco, y luego que el juez dé la orden de juego. Ninguno del bando atacante podrá estar a menos de 27,45 m (30 yardas) de la línea trasera hasta que la bocha sea golpeada o se intente golpearla; pudiendo los defensores colocarse donde quieran. En el saque debe entenderse por bocha golpeada a la acción destinada a poner en juego la bocha.

NOTE: For the knock-in, the ball must be placed on the back line, or a little in front of it, but never behind the line. The Umpire must give the order, and shall not allow the knock-in to be taken before.

NOTA: Para sacar, la bocha debe ser colocada sobre la línea trasera, o un poco más adelante, pero nunca detrás de la línea. El Juez debe dar la orden, y no permitirá que se saque antes.
The attackers shall be given a reasonable time to take up their positions, and the knock-in shall be taken within 10 seconds of the order to play given by the Umpire. The player taking the knock-in must hit the ball, or try to hit it, at the first attempt. If the player rides over the ball, circles round while taking the knock-in, or the 10 seconds pass, the Umpire shall blow the whistle and award a throw-in at right angles to the back line, the defending team lining up on the goal side.

Se les dará un tiempo razonable a los atacantes para colocarse en sus puestos y el saque será hecho dentro de los 10 segundos de la orden de juego dada por el Juez. El jugador que saca deberá pegarle a la bocha, o intentar pegarle, en la primera tentativa. Si el jugador pasara sobre la bocha, diera una vuelta en redondo durante la ejecución del saque o pasaran los 10 segundos, el Juez hará sonar el silbato y otorgará un throw in perpendicular a la línea de fondo, formando el equipo defensor del lado del arco.
